Having picked up Alan Wake where I last left off, it starting to more and more obvious that something is amiss. Do not get me wrong, there is a lot to like; sharp voice work, fascinating frame devices, rock concerts; however the closer it approaches greatness, the more glaring its more strange design decisions become. There was a point where a doctor was disguising the finer points of madness with me, whilst I ran around a lobby on the off chance there was a coffee mug there... and there was! It is starting to be very disconcerting. Also, did I just get an achievement for be advertised too... Son of a B*****
