@snakelinksonic: Haha damn, you posted the one where I failed on the interrupts...but the other one that was followed by the hellfire cast was NOT MY FAULT!
Bought it cause of the quick look and I'll mirror some of the sentiments here that it was too short and seemingly not worth the price of purchase. But Bioware did a great job of integrating her character in the other missions. For example the mission in recruiting Samara, she provided her own little quips and even responds to the "You should disobey your superiors" segment where Shepard gets flak for sending peeps to suicide situations. I'm keeping her on board for everything right now to see her reactions.
I'm digging Lightning, Sazh, Fang and even Vanille. Like many others pointed out, Sazh is probably the best one out of all for being the most grounded. As for Vanille, I guess I've gotten used to the whole 'anime girl' archetype she usually goes into, but she has her moments and contrasts the rest of the cast well. I tolerate Snow and Hope. Snow's hero bit really bugged me at the beginning. I mean despite all the things that's happening to him he's unnaturally positive - whatever he's on, I want some of it. And Hope is...well his name is Hope, but his character is shaping out well in my chapter. The dudes that probably annoyed me the most was Snow's little NORA gang. I'm hoping they all die at some point.
I personally enjoyed Hale's Shepard with most of the game. But there are moments when Meer's subdued inflections were more appropriate. At times it felt like Hale was going over the top a bit.
I was all for Jeff's suggestion of making a pure physical persona and overwriting Ziodyne and Elec Amp. They should start thinking of making specialized persona's in the future. It'll make skill selection much easier. Otherwise, I don't think they made a bad decision overwriting tempest slash since they are trying to go for versatility.
