Dimensions recaptures enough of Geometry Wars' thrills to stand as the best new dual-joystick shooter in quite a while.
The little mushroom man finally gets his name on the marquee, and the result is a charming, unique, and puzzle-heavy adventure.
Nintendo's all-stars assemble once again, resulting in one of the best reasons to own a Wii U (and eight GameCube controllers).
Yeeeeees, a Rorview! Always down with Matt writing stuff. Very well done as usual.
I was vacillating on whether or not to re-up my subscription (which expires today) but then this popped up and now the choice seems pretty easy. So good; so dumb
Watched a few minutes. Seems the kids are still playing Burn the Witch.
God damn it, Dan.
The newly-minted Giant Bomb equivalent to Walter Sobchak's "Shut the fuck up, Donny."
Cool video. Although it feels more like a review without a score rather than an essay with a larger point.
Came here to say this. I am all for scoreless video reviews, though.
This has quickly become my favorite feature on the site right now.
@herbiebug: I don't think so. It's a big part of the game.
Edit: You can turn off the audience and narrator it seems? Don't know why you would want to though.
I'm playing this now. At the end of Act 1, when you save the sun princess, she asks your name. You shake your head and the cat (Ying Yang) sighs and says ku-TAR-o, like the princess says. So Ying Yang mispronounces your name and the princess takes that as the correct pronunciation. Why he mispronounces it that one time I'm not sure, but he does.
Hilarious that Jeff and Vinny got what they were going for with e Sun Princess while Brad whinged and moaned about it, and then the game went on to essentially prove Jeff right.
I forgot how much I enjoy the Flight Club. Some of the funniest videos on the site, hands down. Glad to have another installment.
