Professor Farnsworth from Futurama. I'd say the actor who does his voice but I don't think that guy talks like the professor all day.

Forgot to mention. If you go down to the general store before the battle you will see a bunch of barrels full of oil. Talk to the knights afterwards and they will then use the oil in their defense during the battle.

There kinda is a bug. Do as others have said and lure the undead back up to the knights. Once those are dead then there should be a cut scene. If there is not then what happened in my game probably is happening to you.  An undead got stuck somewhere in the actual town and until it dies then more and more undead will keep on coming where the knights are. Kill the undead stuck in town past the barricades then there should be a cut scene.

Steam says I've been playing for about 8 hours. After reading Dave's post I went to the circle first thing too. I'm now on my way to Red cliff. Never met any demon kid in the tower. I'm an Elf warrior though.

One quick tip though. AoE has friendly fire in Dragon age.

I've never quite understood this philosophy. It's not like people actively choose between having a few really close friends or a lot of shallow friends, do they...? Is there a "small number of close friends" quota that once reached you can't accept any more friends otherwise the group will EXPLODE?

If you have too many friends then someone is always going to be disappointed. If all your friends work well together then SURE have all the friends you want and you'll see most of them most of the time but that's not how I've found it to work.

It might be just that you and your friends are getting older. I know that I don't see my friends very often because we're all busy with school and jobs. Then it's up to someone to take the time, make a phone call, and schedule a time for you guys to hang out. If they can't schedule you anywhere...ever, or as much as you like, then it's time to find some new friends.

Often times people try to find friends at their work or other places that they attend on a daily basis. Also, finding places where people congrigate who share your interests is another way to find new friends.

As for people not calling you. I agree for trying social networking sites. Everyone I know uses Facebook before they pick up the phone. Picking up the phone takes effort and people don't like making an effort. On that point, If you think someone is going to make an effort to do anything on your behalf, then you are going to be very disappointed. If it annoys you though, be the master of your own destiny and pickup the phone yourself or knock on THEIR door to hang out. If you're not already doing these things then you have your reason why your friends aren't doing the same.

Finally, on the Friend vs Acquaintence argument: I find most people will say they're your friend based on very flimsy criteria. I do the same. It's just easier to call someone a friend than going on a long diatribe about how I met them. Often times I call them a friend as to not hurt their feelings. The people I consider ACTUAL friends are either the people I like and have talked to for quite a while and/or people I can call and we'll do stuff.

...forgot about the last question about the two ladies. Yeah, I've had that problem many times. My university is pretty small and there are soooooooooooooooooooooo many people that I have met but just don't talk to. It happens, try not to take it personally. I've been trying a new thing though. I've been talking to a lot of the people I usually ignore and generally they've been...weird. Acting nice but not sure if it's honest yet...more research must be done. But yeah, that stuff happens. If you care very much about what these women think of you then try talking to them the next time you see them. If it's strained and they look like they want to leave...you're probably not friends and it's best to leave it alone.

Sorry about the wall of text. I have bolded and underlined in hopes to make it easier to read.

Yeah...Brad would just pull a Brad, leaving Ryan and Drew on their own.

Yeah, I'd give him a shield and start him on that path. With that specialization you can get a stance which increases your defense. My main is a two hander and most of the stuff seems to be geared towards offense and sometimes at the cost of defense. The indomitable stance for two handers is good though, if you're against someone who keeps on knocking you down. It might be worth spending one point in it if Sten doesn't already have it.
