I got the game PS3 about 4 days ago and have probably put in around 15-20 hours. I have had one freeze but apart from that it has been absolutely fine and there has been nothing to suggest any differently. It occassionaly pauses when autosaving but it honestly seems fine.

You can wait if you want but I don't see much harm in trying it, I would feel like a bigger idiot if I anxiously waited and waited only to find that I could have just played it the whole time.

I would say that one of the main factors seperating downloadable games from retail games is the depth. Sure the graphics may be classic arcade style but having the live action cut-scenes, a relatively long campaign with multiple boss fights and a full online multiplayer definitely makes this game seem like a retail game to me. Graphics can't define a game.

Most of the Call of Duty campaigns, but that was usually due to the fact that I was itching to play the mulitplayer.

Also AC2, I know alot of guys loved that and for a while I did but getting all those god damn feathers and some of the repetitive mission styles just made the game far too drawn-out in the end for me.

Agree with you, it seems like just because people really wanted a strong opposition to CoD that they will be prepared to defend BF3 to any extent.

(Saying this I have always preferred CoD to Battlefield in general)

@RollingZeppelin: He's not saying it is good because it is popular. Also, funnily enough those last two viewpoints are almost universally popular...
