Hm. I made a dumb Wiggler zoo level and thought it was pretty easy and silly, but now that it's been up long enough for Mario Maker Bookmark to give me stats, it seems that it's way harder than I thought it was with a 3.33% clear rate. I'm guessing people have trouble with the Wigglers on tracks. I still like it, though...maybe try it? I think you'll have fun, but I'm kinda biased.

Other levels here, if you like that one.

I tend to just start with a goofy idea and see where I can run with it. I'd say the Buzzy one is my personal favorite. Any feedback is appreciated, as my expectations for which levels will rate better than others are, more often than not, wrong.

@drewbert: Fantasy Life for the 3DS is doing this. I'm not sure if you guys are not counting it as a 2014 release since it came out in Japan in 2012, but only hit Western shelves this year. But if that counts, it's not working on the form.

This was my second choice before I realized I couldn't add it. Enjoying it a lot, and I bet a lot of others would if they knew it existed.

Hm. Who knew reading about someone else's battle against online fraud would be interesting...but there it is. Keep up the good fight, Rorie.

The one thing that is tragically missing from this release is a real version of the guide, which the scratch-and-sniff page. Fun fact: There was a related contest for guessing the scent, and for answering correctly, I received (much later due to what I'm sure was the cheapest shipping) a little air freshener of the Mach Pizza guy. So cool, and I wish I still had it.

I'd never heard of Marcus Beer before this weekend, and judging by what I saw, I'm okay with remaining ignorant to him. Phil Fish may be a pretentious ass (may be, I don't know him personally, so I can only judge by what he chooses as his public persona), but he made a game I like, so it does bug me a bit if he doesn't make future games. Oh, well.

I'm one of those people that finds absolutely no value in PVP games. My work life is stressful enough, and most of the time I play games to relax. Anything "multiplayer-only" is a non-starter, as I don't need the stress of a deathmatch game, and I can only sometimes find fun in co-op games, as I generally don't want to have to rely on other people to make a game fun. When I want interaction with friends, that's what real life is for.

And now I'm realizing that there are, eventually, deeper and sadder implications of getting to know someone's personality via the body of work they put online. And damn, what a radiant personality it was. Condolences to all who knew him personally.

I know there's the whole, "Waahhhhh, Kickstarter is ruining games!" subset right now, but screw that, if Brad Muir wants my money to make a cool thing, he's damn well going to have it.

Just got the game, and I'm liking it, but the level 1-2 G-Land is puzzling me. Do the invisible platforms have a purpose?

If you're not sure what I'm talking about, head through the G-Land door, and head past the two jumping giants and the regular enemy, and once you get to the jump pad that heads to the foreground, don't use it. Instead, jump up and to the right onto an invisible platform, and then run left, jump, and head right to another invisible platform directly on top of the first. This one continues to the right for a bit, with a little jumping (shooting as you go will show you where new jumps should be made), and ends where, in the foreground, there is a long row of spikes, floating eyes, and a one-block platform, right where the one-block is.

So...do I get a power-up later on that relates to this? Or is this just some weird MacGuffin?

Took about half a minute. I must have played too much Layton...goofy logic has creeped into my brain.
