Favorite Games of All Time

This is a list of my favorite games ever. You probably won't agree with it, but whatever dude!

List items

  • This game is my childhood. I have sunk more time into this game during my childhood than I've spent hanging out with friends. I know this game inside and out, and it still doesn't bore me in the least. That, my friends, is the definition of a great game. Sadly, not many people know about this game. Truly a travesty, as I feel this game deserves a lot more recognition. I could see this growing into a killer giant franchise the likes of Pokemon, but in a sense I'm glad they stopped with the lackluster Jade Cocoon 2. At least they left me with this absolute diamond of a game. I encourage every last one of you to play this game, even if you aren't into Pokemon style JRPG's. It's that good.

  • I think everything that could be said about this game, at this point, has been said a million times over. Needless to say, it's truly a masterpiece of a game, as is the entire series. Yes, even the third game. Ending and all. Great franchise.

  • This game took up a good year of my life. I may have been the only person in the world that reserved this game at Gamestop. If you own an original Xbox, buy this. If you own a 360 (Phantom Dust, of all games, is backwards compatible), Buy this game. It really blew my mind playing it on the original Xbox seeing how absolutely gorgeous and detailed everything was. The gameplay is also quite unique and undoubtedly a ton of fun to actually play. I would love to see a sequel to this game, and apparently the creator of it wants one too. Kickstarter, here we come!

  • Yep. A wrestling game. Another game that had me sat in front of my TV for hours on end as a youngster. As a lifelong fan of wrestling and their games, I can definitively say I've never had more fun with a wrestling game than I had playing this one. Even with the lack of Create-a-Wrestler (although, the game does let you customize and rename existing wrestlers), I consider it the best of AKI's wrestling games. Better than No Mercy. Fight me.

  • This was really a toss-up between Vice City and San Andreas. In the end, more moments stick out in my mind from this game. From sniping through the window of the starter apartment, to speeding by the Malibu Club in a Banshee, getting chased by numerous police cars with a 3 star wanted level, All while "I Ran" by Flock Of Seagulls played through the speakers. That is a moment that can only be made in a game like Vice City.

2/10 for all of these, at best.
