"Any reviews on the free PC version of this from the community? Curious to see how it fairs. I saw that Vinchenzo wasn't big on the ads being in the game. How intrusive are they, out of curiosity?
We're considering putting the game on the PCs here at the game center, just for another legacy title (and because it's free).

The only time there are ads are in the menus (and occasionally [something like every 20-40 minutes] a blue box will pop up in the middle of the screen; you just click it away) on the corners that say "US Airforce" and stuff. That's about it."
Almost sounds like it takes away from the whole experience that the game attempts to offer the player. I remember playing it in pitch black with the brightness down, and the only things popping up in the middle of the screen were crazy scenes of violence and weird memories and shit. As far as gameplay, is the translation pretty good? Controls and all work nicely?
Personally, Steam is the answer to DRM that most companies need to just adopt and use. It would make things a hell of a lot less painful for the consumers.
Still one of the more...interesting...story twists in gaming history, imo. lol Fantastic game, too. Sad that OI aren't makin' games anymore. = (
Oh, and the review was one of the more...interesting...reviews that Jeff has given, imo. lol Fantastic depth to it...but Jeff looks like CNET was on the other side of the camera.

Don't you agree? When the game was first out, the sales were poor on it...but PC gaming also wasn't at the height that it is today. Moreover, Killer App (the Xbox version) didn't appeal because the console was still fairly new.
With all the news coming out on Tr2n, as well as Tron's importance in Kingdom Hearts II, it would seem like the perfect time for a new game. Plus, the movie isn't due out until 2011 anyways. = D
