In Zone mode you can't brake, keeps getting faster until you die. Wait till you get over 100 to see some speed.

Zone battle is the other mode, you build up meter by going over boost pads, then Zone boost to increase your Zone level. First to the targeted Zone wins.

Firing your Zone boost also causes a barrier to appear which drops your Zone level if you hit it.

I did call my first planet "The Toon" and the system "Balletmonae" but I should have just gone with the normal spelling!
