The Rock Band vs Guitar Hero ratio seems about right; it's anecdotal, but everyone I know who liked Guitar Hero abandoned it after Rock Band came out and haven't looked back, which is somewhat unfortunate given the laudable creation tools in Guitar Hero, but reasonable considering all the other ways the franchise has dropped the ball.
