@ch3burashka: I still have my original white 30?GB Zune and the 120? black glossy one. Those were pretty damned decent music/movie players. I liked them better then I ever liked my 3GS.
AGEIA Physx card comes to mind. Was one of the sorry saps who bought one (was around $180 at the time), and it quickly became obsolete once NVidia bought Physx.
I had one. I remember the fan on it dying and not really using it for any games. That was a waste of around $300 dollars. I knew it had potential though. I guess I was just too early.
The Football Manager games have always had a huge issue with piracy. Although I'm surprised the piracy rate wasn't higher in Germany, where the game is not available to buy due to licensing issues.
Seems like the kind of game that would work better if it was browser based and like MMORPG's, half the information was server-side. I'm pretty sure that's the only real method of that curves piracy. Though eventually people are able to create private servers but they're never the same.
Yeah I'm potentially put off by anime art styles. Some styles bother me more than others. For instance I wasn't phased at all by Dragon Quest 8's art direction nor was I bothered by Catherine's. I am bothered by art styles like what's in Dust, Hatsune Miku, and those various visual novel type games. I think it's when you mix the nonsensical drama stories with the extra exaggerated styles that really puts me off. Those stupid anime sounds put me off too. those "auhhh???!?!" and "uhhh?" fucking sounds they make. Maybe draw better faces so you don't have to make stupid sounds to compensate.
Why are people talking about lonely people? Sometimes you just need to get your rocks off and not spend a week to do it. Lonely people try to fill that void with everything. Food, pets, exercise, hobbies, whatever it is. This won't suddenly made lonely people introverts or anything.
When I first bought my 360 (during the second run) I vowed to only buy used games and beat them to completion before allowing myself to buy another. I think that ended up working for the first game I bought. Now I'm just not planning on buying any consoles anymore and sticking to PC. I think it'll save me a lot in the long run. Though my love for all things Metal Gear might cause me to end up buying a PS4 and MG after it comes out. Or maybe after a slim ps4 comes out.
