@mason: From what I have seen is that once you hit enough you do a bleed damage hit. I play as a thief, and I still use the Bandit's Knife. Upgraded to +10 though. Anyway, when hitting enemies with it I would do, let's say 10 damage each hit. Once the bleed damage effect has been stacked up or something you will suddenly do an attack which does 30 damage instead. Then you scale that up and see that you can do massive damage when the bleed goes off. Those numbers are completely wrong, but that seems to be how it works.

When you do the bleed damage the enemy will bleed more, and you get a slightly louder (or at least different) hit sound. A more... bloody sound in a way.

So no gradual bleeding I am afraid. As far as I know.

@RockmanBionics: Yeah, I wanted to try out dual-wielding once I found another good dagger. But seeing how I can't get the timing right on parrying I don't think that is a good idea for me. Besides, not having a shield when facing those damned crossbow hollows is a bad idea. Some of the bolts even curve and home in on you!

Being a Thief, I have tried to backstab more or less every enemy. Those skeletal knights with rapiers are the only ones I have yet to land a successful backstab on for some reason. They are also the only "normal" enemy in the Undead Parish I have some trouble with. Probably not any more though, as I now am strong enough to use the Drakesword.

I will most likely move back to daggers when I get some good ones though, as you aren't as hindered by tight spots.

Quick question about miracles and such: I haven't bought any yet as I see they have a limited number of uses. Does these uses replenish when resting at a bonfire? I play as a thief, so haven't gotten the chance to try any magic yet, and I am not that many hours in.

Also, do I need to learn how to parry, or is that something you can manage without?

Got it delivered yesterday, found the same thing. Which I think was nice. Game is brutal, loving the hell out of it.

Seeing how a lot of the recent video game music is damned good in relation to music in general, I can't see why it would be weird.

It's me, 'shopped to look somewhat like Morpheus from Sandman. Thinking of changing it to something else, as it was my ex that did the manip. But not sure what.

The very first one. The second one was the last I owned, the third one the last I played more than a demo of. The very last bit of Call of Duty I played was the demo for Modern Warfare I believe.

Nice. I did loose my beard a while back due to wanting change, but I am back with a nice short beard now. And I would totally join this, if it wasn't for the "no-trim" rule. 'cause seriously, I look like a hobo pretty damn fast if I don't trim it. I need to trim it at least twice a week for it to look respectable. Good luck though!

I have to be honest... I did not expect much when I pressed the topic. But man, that actually looks like it can become pretty damn awesome. Hell, it looks cool already! I might just gave to start reading this little blog-series of yours from the start later today. Looking forward to see how this turns out.
