Hey man, this sounds tough and I'm sorry you're in this position. If you really don't want this job, and there are no avenues in this field, you shouldn't force yourself to keep with it. You're family will understand in the long run. Plus, it is better to be out $1,000 than whatever it will end up being by the time you're done.
But, before you quit, really think about what you would do besides this job. What do you want to do with your life? Remember, that all college student inevitably have moments where they want to quit school. I'm a grad student and, trust me, there have been many times where I thought about quitting. But, I forced myself to focus on what I enjoyed about my future job rather than how bad I felt during the moments when I wanted to quit. If it turns out that you really don't want to have anything to do with this field, then don't force yourself to go through with the program. It is a terrible existence to utterly hate doing the job you've gone to school for. But, really take some time to think about it.
Is this a feeling that's just come to you recently?
-Ethan is fingerless (I was missing two clues and had to deduce Shaun's location at the end) and saved Shaun with Madison's help. They end up getting together and live happily ever after with Shaun in a new home. -Shelby is dead. The last time the game mentions him is to show the prostitute spitting on his grave. -Jayden is over his habit but failed as a detective. He resigns from his job with the implication that he wants to get his life in order.
I was kind of under the impression that Scorpion was to strong. It might just be my bias as he's the only character I could really wrap my brain around.
I'm not sure I fully understand. There are a lot of books that focus solely on one character who interacts with several other characters. There are a lot of books written from the first-person perspective that do this. "All Quiet on the Western Front" is an example of book that does this.
Did you mean a book that has one one character in it and he/she never interacts with anyone else? I suppose you could write a book about a person who has, for some reason, become secluded from everyone else. There was a book I read in middle school called Hatchet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatchet_%28novel%29) that had only one character in it. It focused on a boy who had to survive on his own on a deserted island.
