Weirdly my stats have now come back. Hasn't really affected anything, just means I can view my stats and weapons without going into a game. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.
After looking around a bit I can see that there seems to be a problem with the stats. For me it doesn't seem that bad, I can play with all my unlocks but I can't view them when out of a game. I was wondering if there were any fixes for it or if anyone knew if DICE were going to try and solve this problem. The more cynical part of me presumes DICE is not bothering with BC2 any more because of the imminent release of BF3 .
@tunaburn: Why are you on the MW2 forum if you hate the game so much and presumably no longer own it. Surely you have better things to do with your time than complain about a game which you have no need to complain about since you don't play it any more (once again I assume)

Since I'm extemely bored I thought I might do a little bit of digging, admittedly this led to almost nothing but I thought I might share my finding.
I was reading this story from Ars Technica when I thought I recognized the name Mackey McCandlish from the Bonus Round episode about the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 2. So I thought on the off chance that he might be on facebook, and he is, I'm presuming it's him as it has a fair amount of friends and a fairly cloe up picture. But look at what one of the two fan pages are Respawn Entertainment. That has to mean something, even if it is just showing his distaste towars Activision and how Infinity Ward was run.

In my opinion the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer can be improved, which by the looks of it, most people would agree with this statement.
It can be improved in a number of reasons which I will only list as this is not my main point. Respawn Points, Grenade Launcher, Akimbo and finally the way the game rewards you.
Now these reasons could be argued for hours on end but I don't really want to focus on them instead I want to focus on the mentality of a COD player, because I think this is the main reason why COD multiplayer is flawed.
The reason I think the players are at fault for making the multiplayer poor is because they are always looking to win striving for an improved K/D ratio as that is what they believe to be most important about the game, not having fun, and for many people they will do anything to improve it, whether it be by turning into a Commando Kid or noob tubing. It could be said that these need to be fixed by IW (because these two things are problems in my opinion). Could one also not say that the player should realise that these are cheap tactics and will probably spark abuse from other players.
I was wondering if anybody thought the same, similar, or completely different.
