I am in the same boat as you OP. Because of my slow download speeds and data caps, I had to choose between FO4 or Battlefront for this month. The piracy download stuff is hot garbage too. They could literally make it a 5MB download in order to run the game. As a side note, digital pre-orders are garbage. There is zero reason to reserve something that doesn't have a supply limit. It'd sure be nice to have the option of going back to having games be on physical media especially since downloads are so large these days. They could do a minimal download to protect against piracy as well.

We all have our different time frames. I am waiting to do an upgrade once the second wave of cards comes out for VR. I think they will be much more adept at handling VR at that point. I really want to just say heck with it and get a card and VR at the same time, but I think patience should win out for the best experience witht he format.

I'd be all about an all digital gaming front if devs all had their acts together and there weren't these monstrous, bug filled, day one patches that still failed to fix the issues. We aren't there. I want a disc so that I am not wasting bandwidth on full games.

If we are going full digital, then why do we still have preorders from the physical era where the consumer had to make sure a copy of a game was waiting for them at the brick and mortar they frequented? There is no lack of supply in an all digital world. Yet we still have these companies tryna fleece us. It's asinine. I really wish you'd call attention to that, @austin_walker.

Yeah, I think he has some valid points but when he starts arrogantly talking about himself it tarnishes his argument. Self promotion only helps to obfuscate the actual issue. Take yourself out of the equation dude if what you think you are doing is the right thing to do by backers in creating some transparency.
