Heat vs Celtics: Game 4 right now...

Jeez... Celtics are just going insane right now in the 2nd quarter... really hope they keep this momentum going. Rondo is just a beast making these Magic-like assists all day long! Ray Allen is just super smooth on his triples as well.

The one thing the Heat have going for them right now is LeBron..... he keeps getting And-1 layups!

Can't wait to see who we see at the Finals.. I'm hoping we get Thunder vs. Celtics :)... both of my favourite teams at the moment.

100+ points in the NBA Finals! :)

Just had a sick game 1 of the NBA Finals against the OKC Thunder. My guy's shooting percentage was off the charts... especially from 3!

As we all know, the last NBA player to score 100 points in a game was Wilt Chamberlain.

I didn't even realize how close I was to getting that throughout the game until the last quarter... and the coach pulled me out with 4 minutes left and 3 points away from 100 :(. When he finally put me in with 2 minutes left in the game, I scored 7 points after a series of free throws and buckets :). I also got my teammates involved throughout the game as well :D.

I wonder if I can repeat this again during the finals o_o.

The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition (Music Video)

Once in a while I'll run across a song that just touches me for no reason. This is one of them... probably because it tries to make me believe in the possibility of finding someone to love in the future... and what that feeling could be like. Here's the video:

Sweet disposition

Never too soon

Oh, reckless abandon

Like no one's watching you

A moment, a love

A dream aloud

A kiss, a cry

Our rights, our wrongs

A moment, a love

A dream aloud

A moment, a love

A dream aloud

So stay there

Because I'll be coming over

And while our blood's still young

It's so young

It runs

And we won't stop until it's over

Won't stop to surrender

Songs of desperation

I played them for you

A moment, a love

A dream aloud

A kiss, a cry

Our rights, our wrongs

A moment, a love

A dream, aloud

A moment, a love

A dream aloud

Steals Record Obliterated! But...

I somehow managed to completely demolish the NBA steals record tonight against the Warriors... (we routed them as well... by almost double!) But by doing so, I may have broken the box score limits for the amount of steals that get recorded (could explain why the game gave me TWO dynamic goals to break the NBA steals record on two different quarters).

Last time, I hit 15 steals, and that was enough to break the steals record. Tonight (December 13, 2015 xD), I hit 18... it showed up correctly in the highlights tape score screen, but it doesn't list it correctly in the box score (it seems to have gotten stuck at 15). I went to check my player card; it lists my highest steals record at 18... oh well..

44 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 18 steals!
NBA Steals Record Again-2 Darn bugged box score =(

I'm not constantly trying to pick the ball handler either.. I'm playing the passing lanes!

Just for the record (which got smashed to bits <_<), the current NBA steals record (11 steals) in a regular season game is held by two players:

  1. Larry Kenon: San Antonio Spurs (at Kansas City Kings) on December 26, 1976
  2. Kendall Gill: New Jersey Nets (vs. Miami Heat) on April 3, 1999

That's pretty badass of them, if you ask me.. I'm kinda surprised that Gary "The Glove" Payton wasn't up there... that dude was on his man like white on rice.

And once again, the NBA steals record has been smashed xD:

NBA Steals Record Once Again

February 22, 2016 - 62 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists, 19 steals.

23/47 FG, 7/14 3PT.

Had to take the box score from the post-game scores otherwise it'd show up as 15 steals.... just couldn't break 20 :(... got another triple-double though! :)

Got up to 23 steals in one game!

NBA Steals Record Again2-1
NBA Steals Record Again2-2

April 14, 2007 - 69 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 23 steals, 1 block

Man oh man oh man... I can't believe this just happened... I mean.. I came close to it a couple times... maybe three... but it actually happened!

I know it's just a game, but damn! Apparently only 4 NBA players (to this date) have ever officially recorded a quadruple-double:

  1. Nate Thurmond: October 18, 1974; Chicago vs. Atlanta; 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, 12 blocks
  2. Alvin Robertson: February 18, 1986; San Antonio vs. Phoenix; 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals
  3. Hakeem Olajuwon: March 29, 1990; Houston vs. Milwaukee; 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 blocks
  4. David Robinson: February 17, 1994; San Antonio vs. Detroit; 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks

You could add my name up there too now xD...

5. (name omitted): November 29, 2015; Philadelphia vs. Toronto; 47 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists, 11 steals

Good thing my teammates didn't goof up their finishes, or I would never have gotten it =).

My only regret was not getting 12-12-12 xD.

3rd Quadruple-Double:

Miami Heat vs Dallas Mavericks - Xmas '11

Did anyone happen to catch the Heat vs. Mavs game on Christmas?

It was pretty crazy to see the plays Wade and James were pulling off... James did a couple of sweeeeeet touch passes during the course of the game... one of them was even an alley-oop touchpass... that came from up high.. instead of from below... wtf?! :D That new rookie, Cole, was doing some sweet moves as well.

Here's a couple of videos of these touchpasses:

Now, I'm not a Heat fan at all in particular, but I do enjoy seeing talent at it's finest =). I was just glad I was able to watch a game of basketball on TV finally, now that I have digital OTA TV =) (Canadian TV sucks for BBall)

Stat Sheet Stuffer... Supreme!

It feels wrong to smash NBA records, but this game was insane... I never had so many steals in a game before.. the blocks were pretty crazy too.

87 Points, 4 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 15 Steals, 5 Blocks.

33/58 FG, 13/23 3PT

PS: I tried to get more assists, but my teammates kept messing up their finishes =(.
