Sunk a lot of hours into the state of San Andreas. Some of the cultural relevance was lost on me, but technically it was amazing
Despite not being alive in the 80's, Vice City was a brilliantly constructed place. Best GTA to date
A deep and engaging driving simulator. Made me feel like I could drive a car...Even if it involved speeding into a barrier
Short, on both length and personality and traded on being pretty gory. Was a bit of a challenge as well in bits
Came with my PS2, I didn't have a clue what was going on, other than this is very Japanese
Bought this off a mate for £5, was a very good investment, introduced me a great franchise
Didn't get enough credit, was a competent and enjoyable shooter with enough variation in both level design and approach that it was pretty fresh
Wasn't a Halo killer, wasn't even a 007:Nightfire, was too buggy and bland to really make an impact
After Angel of Darkness, this was the true next generation for Lara Croft.
Based on the books, I remember it being bloody difficult, and a bit unintelligible, even as someone who loves the books
Pretty good licensed game, I remember been blown away by it when I first got a PS2
Same as the above, but had better visuals and more character variation
Had a village building simulator and a dungeon crawling bit, that was a bit less fun.
I was a Matrix fan for a while. The hacking mini-game almost made up for this being a buggy mess
Looked down upon, but I thought the battle system was great and I was really into FFX's storyline
Best JRPG I played in that generation. I was pretty addicted to it for quite some time
Still a good game, but a bit of a disappointment for me, battle system never really clicked with me and the storyline was not that engaging unfortunately
