Crysis 3 Xbox 360 Weird Audio Glitch

So here's something I don't think I've encountered before. When I get a good look at a wide open area in the 360 version of Crysis 3, the audio completely dies. But when I pan back over to the wall or down to the ground, it kicks back in. Weeeeeeeird.

Has anyone else encountered this? This might be the weirdest glitch I've encountered since the "headshot causes game to freeze for 5-8 seconds" bug in Kane & Lynch 2. The difference there is that I found that one before release and didn't have anyone else to compare notes with like I do now, so... anyone?

I'm really wondering if Crysis 3 is just too goddamn much for the 360 to handle. We've had people posting about Crysis 3 making their 360's overheat and I've seen people post about all sorts of other bugs. Now Jeff posts this. Weird man.

PC master race Linux FTW, all that aside i played it on the 360 with no problem. Seems like it a small few. I just found it boring and stopped playing it completely.

It isn't like you have to be in some crazy circumstances to find this bug, but rather in an easily replicable situation. Crazy.

Maybe crazy circumstances are necessary to get the bug going, and then it's easy to replicate.

You would think something that happens under those conditions would have been caught during testing. It isn't like you have to be in some crazy circumstances to find this bug, but rather in an easily replicable situation. Crazy.

This makes me look forward to the next generation. With so much more memory, weird stuff like this shouldn't happen, especially a AAA game.

Playing on PC, sometimes the audio dies for just a fraction of a second. Nothing that bad but maybe there's something funky with this video game, man. It only happens in wide open areas, too.

The game has really, really awful choppy audio on 360, I never had it completely just drop like that, though. There's an on-rails section later on where the audio cutting in and out was unbearable, that was the worst of it.

Nope, not happened to me....yet. I have at one point had my gun shoot without making sound for a bit.

If you reset does it still happen?

Yup. Word on the street is that they chose to sacrifice audio quality for frames or something like that.
