The number of people in the industry who seem not to care at all about the Merritt stuff seems to be a pretty long list judging by how many people follow her and are friendly with her on Twitter still and then also work at fanbyte.

Giant bomb needs to take much more of an active stance on situations like this, they were way too flippant on gamer gate at the time especially when this site mostly consists of white straight guys and always has. Mods shutting down conversations like the one about about Temkin's allegations with now multiple "friends of the site" having accusations against them you just cannot be silent with shit like this and foster a community that are apologists or just ignore serious topics.

All this on top of Abby saying she needed a security team at cons just makes all this shit fucking gross.

The video content this year was a bit of a bummer, some good stuff here and there, but only 2 group videos and not even any set dressing made it feel like nothing special.
