They're playing a long game. It won't be until at least 5 years from now that we'll even begin to see how it is panning out

Seriously? Those are your reasons? I have a better one.

The headers and menu font. Seriously, why is that horrible, out of place font still being used? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, it annoys me every day and yet nobody ever says anything

It most certainly is not. MGS3 has by far the best stealth sandbox in the series outside of Phantom Pain, is the most standalone entry story-wise outside of MGS1 and it has a more satisfying story than 2 by far. MGS2 is only better if the only thing you like about Metal Gear Solid is the weirdness, and as a huge MGS fan...I am long since past caring about the weirdness, or Hideo Kojima's needlessly perverse meta-narrative. For me, MGS3 remains the best Metal Gear Solid game even ahead of Phantom Pain as while the stealth sandbox is at its absolute best in V, the story there is so brain-meltingly stupid that even though you can ignore it, it drags a lot of the game down with it (most notably, the switch from Codec/radio to audio tapes is incredibly disappointing).

I like a lot of them (Obviously), but Unprofessional Fridays is my favourite show. For me, it's worth the Premium Subscription on its own.

My computer is a MacBook Air, so I'm not really in the Oculus Rift target market, but they're a cool company and it seems like a great device so I wish them well and I hope everyone who orders one enjoys themselves. As for me, I'm going to go ahead and order a PlayStation VR just as long as Sony confirms it can be used to watch 3D Blu-Rays - that makes it economical to me as it can stand in for a new TV and it means I'll get use out of it even if the early VR content doesn't grab me. Whether I buy one at launch or hold off depends on the price though.

I don't know if it's that I hate my job, or that I'm sick of it. I do know I hate the way we work our asses off (It's not unknown for me to get physical symptoms of stress from just the sheer workload because it fluctuates and when it goes full tilt it really can get out of hand) and yet by its very nature we're never done (You don't finish, you just get as far as you can then wait for more to roll in) and nobody notices or imagines we exist. I work for Major British Pay TV Company editing the on screen TV Guide. I like that I work in Television, that's my main passion. I like that I was able to get a decent enough job that supports me happily enough straight out of university. But the actual day-to-day of it has long since started to grate and the way I'm lacking in a support system (I had to move to the capital, all my friends and relatives now live elsewhere - even, ironically, the ones who were previously London-based) means I also feel trapped in it a bit because I can't take any risks, I really need to have the next thing already sewn up in order to do something about it, and that's not easy because it keeps wearing me down so the last thing I want to do is spend my free time going through with job hunting.

So every day I think about quitting, but getting to a position to actually do it is going to be tough. I need to go do something with an output, where I can be creative and be recognised as contributing. Something active and engaging. Something I can care about and be proud of.

That's the dream anyway.

Did anyone see the teaser image first and get excited about the possibility of news on Gyakuten Saiban/Ace Attorney 5 and then realise it was just the usual clever way of illustrating legal proceedings on games sites?

Uh...Cos...I sure didn't >_> <_<

I've got a few I'd like to share. They're all Underground themed (which is mostly a coincidence)

First is a gimmick course called Patience: 2E55-0000-0018-9A40

This is Patience & Timing, a refinement of Patience into a proper level. I like comparing these two as it demonstrates how powerful the rapid prototyping is - I tuned the gameplay in P&T from Patience bit-by-bit by hopping in and out to create a better flow and more and more varied elements: F1AF-0000-0032-143D

Those two are both New Super Mario Bros. Levels. I know a lot of people don't have the severance for that era, but having grown up on PlayStation the NSMB series were the first Mario games I really played a lot. I 100%'d the original on all three save slots. This next one though is a classic Super Mario Bros. level - I have a lot of reverence for the original as well, of the classic styles this is the one I'm most familiar with.

This is 1-2 Dreamin', and it's basically my attempt at a classic SMB1 Underground level (Though the name is possibly misleading as it doesn't feature the Pipe entry & exit from the actual 1-2): D2BD-0000-0032-1D4A
