Best of 2012
I didn't get around to playing many games this year. I still need to play Assassin's Creed III, Far Cry 3, Halo 4, Hitman Absolution, and Dishonored.

My favorite game of 2012. An ending to a trilogy that I have been invested in for 3 games, 5 years in the making... and I enjoyed every last second of it. (still have yet to play any DLC). [Xbox 360]

My most anticipated game of the year and it didn't disappoint at all. Reminded me of all the time I spent playing the first two games. The CGI might be the best I've ever seen in video games. [PC]

For the first time in the series I didn't overly enjoy the single player campaign like I usually do. The new weapons, etc were fun to play with but it just didn't seem to have that overall impact that it usually does. But the multiplayer is still ever so good. And with Elite I'll still be playing until the next one comes out. [Xbox 360]

It wasn't quite what I wanted or expected. Although it was better than I thought it was going to be. The new setting was alright but my favorite levels took place in NYC. I definitely missed the old graphic novel way of telling the story but the new effects for storytelling were okay, I didn't mind them. The gun-play was great, bullet time still satisfying, and by the end of it, I enjoyed the journey but still felt a little let down. [PC]

I have no idea why all of this wasn't included in the original but nonetheless it does add a different twist to the normal game and fixes some other minor annoyances. It's because the core game of Civ is so good and still intact that I keep coming back for one..more..turn. [PC]
