Learn songs naturally through tabs, but make sure you actually know what the names of the chords are in the song. Also, most riffs use notes in a certain scale, so try to find out what scale it is.
This way, you can have fun and gradually become more knowledgeable without doing any boring theory lolz.

G4 had some E3 coverage for this game, and there was a demo where some guy from Bethesda(name doesn't come to mind) was showing of VATS. The game looks awesome, I just don't understand one thing. The guy queued up a headshot with a sniper rifle using VATS, and much to my dismay, when he pulled it off, not only did the poor enemies head explode, all of his limbs seemed to follow suit!!!
