Games I've beaten in 2013

List of games I've completed in 2013, I figured it would be a good count right?

List items

  • Believe it or not, this is my new favorite of the "New" series. It takes everything from Wii (my original choice) and spanks it with some great level design and overall feel. Unlike 2 for 3DS, this one doesn't feel like it was rushed out the door with a stupid gimmick.

  • This is one of best stories that doesn't make sense. However, it does make sense. Or does it? I don't know, nevertheless I love it.

  • I remember when this little gem came out. Before Final Fantasy X no less. Finally found it and played through it. While the Judgement Ring system is a bit gimmicky, the game is a blast. Fun characters, excellent monster designs, great music, and a pretty decent story with great themes.

  • (Wii Version) Excellent little platformer. Great level design, great set pieces (Wall running is amazing), and a great sense of humor (there's a random dance scene. It's awesome). The only complaint I have is while there are great boss battles, they are too few and far in between. I didn't do all of the red teeth challenges, or what waits beyond that. But I've seen the credits. BEAT.

  • (Wii U Version) FINALLY got around to finishing this. The second Wii U launch I picked up. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. I knew the original version turned out... well... THAT, but this one was a fairly competent action game. Definitely not the first game good and DEFINITELY not NES trilogy good, but nonetheless a fun action game. The Bo Staff is the best weapon ever.

  • (Wii U VC version) Now technically I beat this years ago, but played through it again when I bought it for 30 cents (BEST DEAL EVER) off the Wii U VC. It's still as perfect as it was my first time playing it when I was seven. One of those "Perfect Games" that come only once in a while.

  • (Wii U VC Version) ... Does this even count? I play through this game at least once, maybe even twice a year. I have it memorized. It's not only my favorite game of the X series, but my favorite Mega Man game. It's perfect, what else can I say?

  • (Wii U VC Version) ANOTHER SNES Platformer? And one I blast through every once in a while? Dang. I do that a lot don't I? Even with Superstar out there, this is my favorite Kirby game. It has a charm unmatched by any game out there, especially with it's crayon aesthetic. It's a joy to play too.

  • (Hard, Classic)

  • (Normal, Neutral Ending)

  • (Y Version)

  • (PS3)
