Thoughts on Akaneiro Demon Hunters Beta

For the people who don't know the game, it is a hack and slash similar to Diablo and Torchlight, but with eastern asia (chinese) mythology and style.
I have been dabbling on the Beta, and while I am at level 5 or 6 with about two hours of game, I have some thoughts about the game:
Graphics: I love the artstyle, that while it isn't flashy, but it is very stylish and clean. The fact that the armours change the appearence of the wearer is a nice touch, not seen enough among rpgs.
Freemium: The way the Beta is structured around a Freemium model, makes me bitter. I understand that the developer needs money, but having to go around grinding the hell out of the few levels available and/or take the credit card out of my wallet to make it through the beta is kind of lame in my book. I respect the model, but I'm not a fan of it.
Loot: There is plenty loot and different looks for every character in every dungeon.
Dungeons: The game offers (at least in the first two towns) three dungeons for each village, which you visit by being transported from the quest giver npc to the dungeon. And although there are different towns with different dungeons you are always in the same town you started in. I'm particularly not fond of these structure too, but being a Beta and all I can understand that it isn't certain that such structure will make it to the final game, as it might only be a Beta feature.
Experience: The experience you earn in each dungeon is only added to your own pool of XP after the dungeon is finished. I'm not a fan of this either. In Diablo and Torchlight feels good when you are fighting with your enemies, even surrounded and waiting for certain death, and the animation of leveling up adds some bells and whistles, acompaigned a lot of times by a gasp of air as you won't die just yet.
Co-op: It is possible to add people to your game and slash the difficulty.
Social: When you play the game, you have a window on the left where you can chat with other players and the devs.
All and all I find the game cool, but in a market with the likes of Diablo and Torchlight, it makes me unsure of how it will be able to tackle the competition. Although this is JUST THE BETA. All can change from the Beta to release.
