I have a 2012 Macbook Air as well, which is basically three times faster than my old desktop. As a computer, it has been pretty great. As a gaming platform however, the fan spins so fast it sounds like the thing is about to take off. The best I have come across so far which avoid this problem almost entirely are FTL and Hotline Miami. If you have any other ideas I would love to hear them! I find the noise and heat really distracting, so if it seems like a problem I basically just uninstall the game and move on with life.

My attitude is that if you are spending as much on exclusive titles as you are on the console itself, the investment is justified.

So for example, in Australia games generally cost around $80 new. The consoles vary between $250 and $400, so you would only need four or five exclusives. At launch, they were $650 for the 360 and $1,000 for the PS3, so by my (probably silly) system you would need nine or thirteen exclusives, which is never going to happen, let alone on launch day...

Obviously there are great games for both systems in 2012, but I would only consider arcade or downloadable titles to be secondary experiences, and the PC is also a valid platform. My lists would be:

Xbox 360

  1. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
  2. Fable II
  3. Halo 3 / Reach
  4. Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise

PlayStation 3

  1. Heavy Rain
  2. inFamous
  3. LittleBigPlanet / 2
  4. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
  5. Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destuction / Crack in Time
  6. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Totally fake if you ask me, Rockstar are way classier with their graphic design, this looks like it was done in Microsoft Paint. Plus L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3  aren't even close to coming out yet...

So I created this page after reading this press release, announcing the New Xbox Experience in October 2008. Dig Dug: Stylish Edition is listed alongside Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, and the equally elusive PacLand, as games for the family on Xbox 360. I have found zero information on the game since, and as much as I'd love to play it, can only assume it has been cancelled.

So a couple friends and I meet up for gym three times a week, which usually concludes with an hour or two of FIFA. After a few months playing the game and with the World Cup over and done with, I've reached the point where I want to watch the Premier League, but can't which team I should be supporting.

I live in Australia and have no real grasp of English geography, but my family are originally from Hitchin in Hertfordshire, so I figure whichever is regionally closest? I don't really mind if the team is terrible, it's only really for a laugh. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've only really heard her main singles on mainstream radio/in shopping centres/on TV and such, and found them quite reasonable to listen to momentarily. But whenever I see or hear interviews with musicians, it has an immediate effect on my opinion of their music, which was the case when I saw her on Jonathan Ross a couple of days ago.

Johnny Walker for the most part.

I figure most Final Fantasy fans will want Versus XIII as well, which is remaining PlayStation 3 exclusive (for now), so it doesn't really make that much of a difference overall. There are other exclusive and superior versions of JRPGs on the system, so it's nothing to complain about.
