I'm disappointed the game has no music whatsoever. Its not necessarily a deal breaker but a definite omission considering how good braid's soundtrack was. I for one will not be able to stand playing this for extended periods without something playing in the background.

@drew327: I'm thinking more of the mini games than stuff like the technique epiphanies which are fantastic.

While I do think most of the side content is a waste of time there's clearly more effort and budget put into the combat and storytelling so I've never gotten the impression that they're spreading themselves thin. I do wish they'd improve the UI though it's had the same sterile look since the first game.

Did You Know: Hideo Kojima, famous for his Zone of the Enders series, also directed a "Tactical Espionage Action" game called Metal Gear Solid?

@saddlebrown: Your post sums up my feelings pretty well. I want some content with actual effort put into it. I rarely even watch GB videos anymore just listen while I alt-tab into something more interesting.

I can respect a good Sim but man do I not enjoy playing as or against him.
