Goodbye World!

In the next few weeks I am going to be playing Arkham Asylum and Dragon Age:Origins. Back in 2009 I shirked these games because I simply thought I wouldn't like them. Well, with both of their sequels coming out soon or already here and both of them seeming to be really kick ass, I must catch up. Silly me for not playing them sooner.  I will be posting periodically to tell you all how correct you all were and how much of a fool I was to have skipped them.

Uh.

Okay.

Good luck. Dragon Age takes awhile. Batman's relatively quick.

Arkham Asylum is great.  I realized toward the end that the game is basically Metroid Prime in Batman clothing.

Batman AA doesn't take very long unless you drag it out but there's not much reason to even if you 100% the main game. DA:O might take you some time though.

Anyway, ya good games. You should have fun, i'd expect- although I don't know you so maybe you won't. I can only guess. =)

I started playing Dragon Age and loved it, but hit a point where the AI pissed me off waaay too much.

After posting my hate on these forums I was told that you have to program them in the options and can pause and control them (yup I was a n00b) so I intend to start again with this knowledge.

Got Batman AA sitting on computer and 360 untouched, but saving that for a little while.

I look forward to your views on the two.

Damn, thought this was a suicide blog. Oh well, enjoy the games.

@GoofyGoober: Also thought it was a suicide blog, now I just hate the OP.

I remember playing Arkham Asylum. I finished the large majority of the game in one sitting and that's not something I ever do.

Truer words were never spoken.
I get depressed at the thought of replaying Origins, despite being an amazing game and one of my favorites.

Batman can be beaten in a day or 2 if you play it non-stop.

OMG. Haha. I probably should have thought about the title of this post a little more carefully. Yeah I have thoroughly enjoyed AA so far. I haven't gotten Origins yet. We'll see how that goes.

@SuperSambo: Pausing is a prerequisite and so is learning to manage the tactics screen.

I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO KILL YOURSELF!

Keep smiling, trooper.
