Uncharted 3 was a disappointment. After the amazing experience of uncharted 2 i felt uncharted 3 brought nothing new to the table and was kind of skeptical of The last of us when it was first announced.

Patrick called this the anti uncharted and he is 100% accurate. This is probably one of my favorite naughty dog games as of late.

Saying that this game is not perfect. Numerous bugs such as the auto saving bug which plagued users world wide and minor A.I issues are an issue in this game and to be honest none of those issues have made me disappointed by this game

i suggest to people to start this game on hard as it will not disappoint. It adds to the tension with less supplies and more difficult enemies. A lot of choices need to be made on hard such as willing to risk your life to find more supplies or collectibles around a couple of enemies or run out the area to save your ammunition and health. From what i gather from fellow users Normal mode is a bit of a cake walk but if you just want to experience the story then Easy mode is for you.

This game is not a survival horror game but i was spooked on a couple of occasions when a clicker just came out of no where and killed me and there is some gross stuff which might put some people off. If you were looking for a 100% horror experience this game is not for you. Maybe Shinji Mikami`s The evil within be more of a survival horror game and will suit your tastes when that hits store shelf's early next year.

The first 20 minutes of this game left me both speechless and shocked which automatically got me hooked on this game. The violence and gore may put off a lot of people who think this is another "fun" uncharted roller coaster ride but i guarantee that once you play this game there will be something which will keep you playing either the story or the gameplay.

As we near the next generation i was surprised that Naughty dog and Sony could crank out another superb blockbuster when at a time everyone's focus is on the PS4 and Xbone. The year is not over by a long shot as we have more major titles such as GTA V, Saints row IV , Watchdogs and Beyond Two Souls which is another PS3 exclusive but i can say The last of us looks like the contender to beat for GOTY in my opinion. The next generation of video games has a lot to live up to but as we seen this week on a software level so many great games and projects have already convinced me that console gaming is not dead by a long shot.
