These "Christian" newspapers and such are basically just tapping into the primal fear of parent's: My kid has something I know nothing about, and therefore it must be evil. It was like this with comics, rock music, rap music...heck, remember when some psycho parents were convinced that Pokemon were all named after demons or some nonsense like that? It's worst with parents who are trying to raise their kids in a church in an attempt to instill some morals in them. They are afraid of letting anything "evil" touch their kids in fear of pissing off Jesus and thereby condemning them to hellfire. So these publications go off on the latest blame game trend in order to give their target audience what they want: fuel for the fire. The fact that he goes the terrorism route rather than just say, "Hey parents, maybe you should pay attention to what your kids are doing" pretty much proves that point. Why speak rationally when you can bump up your circulation through shock tactics? Heck, it works for Fox News.
But I'm actually not hating on Christians here, because I actually am one. I'm just talking about the jerks like this guy who use paranoia buzzwords to try and make their point. Just a rotten way to do your job, man.
Yeah, none of my friends have this either. It's been lonely on those leaderboards. It's also been a big self esteem boost to see I'm the best in the modes. I simultaneously toast myself while weeping in that same beer.
