Most looking forward to - 2012
These are the games due to be released in 2012 which I will almost certainly buy on Day 1.

The game looks monumental. Irrational haven't let me down yet, I was a huge fan of SWAT 4, System Shock, Bioshock and Freedom Force, and everything I've seen of Bioshock Infinite looks like it might be their magnum opus.

The original was an under-appreciated gem. The sequel looks to improve and help define the franchise.

I love the series, I have all the DLC for the existing games, I own the books and comics - Mass Effect 3 is a very safe bet.

It has the holy trilogy of some of the best artists, engineers, storytellers and game designers - and it looks absolutely fabulous.

The original trilogy I find among my favourite games on the PS2, and even with a change in developer, I think the game is in good hands. It still looks like the fun enjoyable platformer it always was. And thats a good thing.

If Wings of Liberty is anything to go by, Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm will be RTS perfection.

Having watched some gameplay footage - this looks like the reboot the series has definitely needed. It looks like a fun romp back in some actual tombs - a very good thing.

Its been a long time coming, but it looks like it will finally get it's release in 2012. I certainly hope so.

If it were to release - 2012 would be a great time. By that time they should have translated it, and lets be honest - not much else is coming out on the Wii for 2012.

While I prefer the Mario and Luigi series, the Mario RPGs for handheld are generally of an excellent nature, and they rarely disappoint.
