In the immortal words of Ed, all the haters can "Jog on".  The people complaining are the same people that would be bitching about Valve not making a sequel soon enough if they had not made this game.  You cant please all of the people but as long as they please me I dont really give a damn.

Not really, SF3 3rd strike was the 3rd game in that series (SF3); think of each as an expansion pack adding one or two characters only. Which is why I would have no problem with it if it was like a year down the line and not a month after the game was released. tournaments would just simply say we are going to play the latest version of the game. The only market it would divide is the casual gamers who might not buy the expansion pack.
