Good lord, Little Caesars is the worst. I just had Round Table. Now that's a pizza.

" well, even if you have no-fail on... you would not make it far into the leaderboards anyway. Because of your multiplier and constant missing. So, it really should not matter "
I don't think there will be any problems with the leaderboards just because even with no fail on, if your doing poor enough to fail at any point in the song your not going to be ranking at it during that run at all.
Some songs have super hard sections that are practically impossible, and the rest of the song is doable. Constant Motion for example. That's the kind of situation where this would come into play.
" I don't have the game so I have no idea how this actually works, but wouldn't the no-fail scores be in their own category, or atleast have an icon or something on the leaderboards to show that it was in no-fail mode? "It doesn't separate it, as far as I can see.
" I would probably say it doesn't score if you fail and continue because you failed.... if you have no-fail turned off then you obviously want to be playing a game where failure means being "punished" in this way. If your the type of person who would rather play with no-fail on, you'll be able to save all your stats and scores as well - unlike in RB2! "That kinda sorta makes some sense. Why would you want punishment though? If you see the bar get to the bottom, you know you've failed. What's the point of taking a few extra seconds to get back into the song just to have your score not count? Madness!
And why does the Solo percentage indicator go away? That's super annoying.
And if the game's allowing no-fail mode scores to be posted to the leaderboards, isn't that kinda messed up? It should be a level playing field.
I dunno if I like this. It still feels like there's something I'm missing.
No-Fail mode's really confusing me right now. As far as I can tell, you can still rank on the leaderboards with No-Fail mode on. That doesn't make any sense. Beyond that, I'm not seeing any solo percentage indicator while playing on guitar for example. That seems to be the only difference though, the lack of solo percentage when No-Fail is on.
Why does the game disable score if you fail a song and then choose to continue, but scores normally if you turn No-Fail on? Isn't that basically the same thing?
Am I missing something here?
I really hope that none of my DLC is missing, because honestly I may never know. I have so much. Not sure what could be causing missing songs. Did you try deleting the songs from the dashboard and redownloading?
Nice. The guitars aren't particularly amazing though. Glad I preordered at GS and got three songs instead.
Considering 1 pint = .125 gallons, easily the egg nog. That would be easy.
" I think a better solution for this would be to offer 3 different options on the menu: A) buy the (Rock Band 3 version) for $1.99 which has everything except pro guitar and pro bass (for people who don't own the song previously)B) buy an upgrade to the (Rock Band 3 version) for $0.50 that adds Harmonies and keys. (if you already own the song)C) buy the pro guitar and pro bass upgrade for $0.99 (which can be applied even without upgrading) this would be the most versatile way to offer people options, instead of pissing off their loyal fanbase who have bought hundreds of songs from them already! Also, while it's true we paid less for these on-disc songs, my guess is it'll be the same once they get around to updating the old DLC. I'm also kind of annoyed that not all the songs get the pro guitar/pro bass treatment... they got tons of money from the years of DLC people have been buying... they can't afford to hire a few more staff members in order to make everything pro-compatible? Even if the pro-guitar stuff can only be done accurately by the actual guitarists that they have on staff... can't they just make that the primary job of those guys and don't have them work on charting anything else? Or, if that's still too taxing, they can hire some more actual guitarists and teach them how to use the charting system!! </rant> "I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that what you're asking them to do is probably MUCH more work than you realize. This is exhibit A of "easier said than done".
Also, tracks with keyboard support are still just $2. I wouldn't want to play an extra $.50 for them.
