Funny, I had the same thing happen. Got about 180,000 from killing one guy. He was pretty tough, so probably high level, but still. The bad part (as far as I can speculate) is that after I leveled with all of those souls, it was then much harder to be summoned into the earlier bosses, probably because of the soul level restriction, and most of the people fighting those bosses now being much lower level than me, despite us being in the same part of the game.
Well, the Xbox One version is apparently garbage enough that it was postponed indefinitely, which probably doesn't speak well of the versions that weren't.
Imagine the first game stripped of all the fun and given ps2 graphics and menu systems. Thats this game.
Have you ever played a PS2? I really wish people would stop saying that crap.
Ha, I was just thinking this.
On a somewhat related note, if any game needs to update their menus and UI, it's the Lego games. Good lord.
I wonder if there's a way to download all the install packaged files for every game to an external HDD like you mentioned, then install them one at a time later.
I like your first idea better, haha. Siphon that bandwidth.
I've been using one for over a year now, and I'd say they're not really necessary. Nice, sure, but the actual impact varies wildly. If you can afford one, then go ahead, but if you can't, or would rather put your money toward a more vital component, then I'd say absolutely skip the SSD. Just make sure you have a nice and quick HDD, of course.
The Last Giant is fucking WRECKING me...damn. I've only been leveling endurance (started as swordsman), so my vigor is only 4. That might have something to do with it, but the fact is that even with all that endurance, if I manage to block a hit, all of it is drained and I'm staggered. Cray cray. Also Pate can't do shit against him.
I'm assuming this is the first boss most people face, right?
It was the first I faced if you don't count the initial Pursuer encounter.
Just circle around his legs and slash when you're behind him, watching for his stomps and backing away accordingly. The only tough spot is his swipes when you're caught in front of him, but just roll between his legs as he winds up and you're fine.
