So both my wife and I game...A lot!   We have almost every game system you can buy. I have been watching my wife play Heavy Rain on the PS3 when an achievement trophy popped up. I asked her what the achievement was and she absolutly could not care less. Now, let me give you some back story on my wifes gamming habit. She and I share a gold account on our 360. This is the same woman that S ranked LOST Via Domus for gammer points, and now, she couldn't care less?!   

As we started talking about achievements and why they are good/bad for gamming we came to the conclusion that if you have friends who game and are on the same system then your commitment level is higher. It's like this post that I am wrighting on Giant Bomb, it's all about the XP. But, for some reason the Wii and PS3 don't have that relevance in our gamming lives. We have friends that own them, although few who actually play them. So the next time a trophy, Achievement or a whatever-the-hell the Wii has pops up think about the S rank that comes with it not the gamerscore.  
 
Man, I hope the xp was worth it.
