My Backlog: 12/28/10

This is my backlog for PC and 360.  Just done with New Vegas, got two endings. I'll keep playing, building up two more characters to get all the endings and the Steam Achievements, but I'll try to focus my attention to something new.

Xbox 360

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood: Loved the first two. I'm looking forward to this one, but I feel I'm a little burned out of AC after having beaten the first two in less than two months.

Bayonetta: I admit I got this because all of the GOTY talk during the last couple weeks. I never played a DMC or God of War, so I really don't know what to expect... but it looks crazy

Deadly Premonition: If Bayonetta is crazy... this is madness. Right, Zach?

Red Dead Redemption: It was about time I got this game. I imported the Limited Edition from China (NTSC, PAL compatible, in English) that comes with some online unlockables... sweet

GTA IV Complete: Fun fact. This is the first game I got for 360. I wanted to play it, because my PC can't handle it (yet), but now... RDR seems more appealing, to be honest :P

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: This, along with Super Meat Boy and Dead Rising: Case Zero, was the first XBLA game I bought. I really like the game, but it's waaaay too hard for me. I S-Ranked SMB, but man... Scott Pilgrim is even harder, if you ask me. The enemies gang me up and punch my life away in a matter of seconds. There was a patch in the works, but I guess it never came out...

PC

 Damn you, Steam sale

Mass Effect 2: I finished my second playthrough of the first ME some days ago, I think I'll play something in-between to give the franchise a bit of air.

Dragon Age: I was in my second playthrough as a dual-wielding warrior... but I got distracted by other games. I've yet to experience the post-Origins DLC: Awakening, Golems of Agmarrak and Witch Hunt.

Left 4 Dead/Left 4 Dead 2: I bought L4D2 a while back, during a Mid-week Madness or something like that. I have plenty of Achievements to get in both games, a couple of episodes to beat in L4D and... basically the whole L4D2 untouched.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2: This was an impulse purchase. I know my rig is not powerful enough to run this game perfectly -I'm getting 40 - 60 FPS with everything maxed out, except for Shadows and AA- but I just ordered a Core 2 Quad Q8400 :)

BraidOsmos and MachinariumHumble Indie Bundle 2, je t'aime :) (I had actually beaten Braid some time in the past... but not legally, you know what I mean?).

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom: €0.49. I felt terrible when I bought this. Poor, poor devs.

Darksiders: €7.50 on Steam for this sleeper hit? Sold.

Puzzle Quest: I thought this had Steam Achievements. Turns out it's the second one that has them. Fuck.

Dead Rising 2: It has Live Achievements and shorter loading times than in 360. Plus, better graphics. What's to doubt here?

Toki Tori: Lovely :)

Plants vs Zombies: Game of the Year Edition: I'm halfway through, abandoned it to focus on... larger things :P

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: I have like... 2 levels to beat on Veteran to get all the "Beat X on Veteran" Achievements, but besides that (and the impossible-for-me-to-get co-op SpecOps Achievements), I'm mostly done with this.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent: I want to play this on one sitting, but I don't have the time... or the guts.

Burnout Paradise: I can't believe I got this for free some days ago.

Minecraft: I refuse to go back to Minecraft until the Painterly Pack is fixed :(
------

What do you suggest as my next game, duders? :D

That's from Humble Pack 1 :p  "
They are? I entered the Humble Indie Bundle 2 code, and that's all I got. I just assumed that it only downloaded the ones I can run.

were from the second one. My bad! "
Too bad the first pack was added to the bundle so late. I really wanted to have World of Goo, but it's still too expensive to justify the purchase on Steam :(

Also, now that you mention it, Penumbra: Overture is a fucking beast of a game. Anyone who hasn't played it yet, go play it. Nao.

Yeah, that quite a nice pack of games. ^^

Also Braid surprised me. I never thought I would like it.

Be grateful that you have a backlog you can post. If I were to list every Xbox 360, PS3, and Steam game I own but have not played it would number well above 300.

Man when I read the title I expected something a lot, lot worse.

To be honest, I never have enough time to play a lot during the year. Only during holidays I can more or less make time to game. Having this amount of games pending is... mind-blowing for me :P

BTW, they added JUST NOW new DLC for Scott Pilgrim vs The World. The promised patch is not up yet, so you can't use anything from the DLC (Knives as a playable character, a Dodge Ball mode, etc.), but they promised it'll be released soon.
