So...which user with live edit privileges wants to own up to creating this page? Seriously guys, come on. We went through this with the "Call of Duty 6" page.
"I don't get why there are points on this site. I understand that initially it's a way to have quality control so that not just anyone can come in and edit the site, but why does it not cap off at 5,000? All that points do is lead to people on top being accused of point whoring and people that are actually point whoring will try to do anything if they are competing with other people. I think some solutions might be
1. The option to hide your points status from the public, except from Admins and Mods 2. Cap off the Points at 5,000 3. Eliminate the point system altogether"
Their basically a reward system for people who make contributions to the site. Nobody would want to hide their points because the main reason for them is to show off. People can accuse other people of point whoring but in the long run it doesn't matter as long as those people are making some kind of contribution to the site. A 5000 cap will not be inplemented because than there would be no comparing to other people, which is the pretty much the reason of the point system in the first place. Eliminating the point system would take out the reward system, which would cause people to less likely make long contributions under the fact "Whats the Point?". The point system is meant to be a fun little number that goes on you're profile, much like gamerscore. Also it helps to keep new members that just want to screw up a huge portion of the site unable to do anything unless they make worthy contributions first to get to the 1000 point mark where their edits become automatically live."
But many people like myself, just want to contribute to the site but don't want any recognition to do so. If people are fine with the points then they don't have to hide it, if you don't want the publicity then you should be able to hide it or withdraw from the system after the 5,000 point benchmark."
If it really bothers you that much. I don't understand why. Even if you don't want the recognition, you don't have to pay attention to it. There are more pressing issues right now, such as an image uploading bug.

"I like the bombcast because its so casual, its not like other podcasts where its devided into specific parts and each part has to go a certain time e.g with the bomb cast its 4 guys talking about games. thats it, they answer some emails and share their thoughts. thats it"
They do have specific parts. Although there is no set time for each segment, it pretty much goes "What you are playing" > "News" > "Emails". If they have something to talk about it will come up in the any of the sections. Also I do not believe other podcasts really have a set time for each segment. All the ones I listen to, they talk about something, move on, and when they are out of topics they stop.
As for the Community Spotlight thing, Brad did a sweet article about a bunch of user reviews for games they didn't have the time to review. HERE is the link if you want to read up on it.
People got these codes for pre-ordering the game, but they aren't locked to any copies so anybody can use them.
0ZNDRBICRA = Unlocks all Recon areas ( achievements unlocked ) First character is a zero. 4V35JZHQD6 = Kilroy detector ( makes sound when near Kilroy, Achievements do NOT unlock )
These don't effect any other achievements to my knowledge, and can be entered whenever you want. In the main-menu just go to options > codes and enter it in. Enjoy.
