Why is this guy sounding like Jack Thompson? SR3 was the greatest SR game ever. Man this is look really bad. No one with this man's mentality should be running a modern game company.
@CandiBunni: being shoved into games already in progress, perks, weapons and armor that change stats, prestege like leveling system. Yes ok its nothing like COD at all. It used to be cool and unique in its own rite and now dudes in suites decided to copy and paste. So no i'm not interested.
You don't know how the join in-progress system works. It could simply be to select the option for a "Quick Match" instead of searching for one like usual for all we know. The term "perks" was not used by a member of 343i. It was used by the media to describe what they saw. So far the only things we've seen are the basic features and armour abilities. That is it. A prestige leveling system eh? How do you know that is how the leveling system is going to work? Have you seen it in action or played to find out? No, you have not. You do not know how the join in-progress system is going to work, nor how the ranking system is going to work either. There is absolutely no evidence to support the whole "weapon stats and armour stats modifications" complaint. They have also not said that armour will change your stats nor have they hinted at, shown, or said that weapon stats will be modifiable. So please, stop assuming things and stop misinterpreting what they have said. They've said the game still feels like Halo, and if you would have payed attention to the information released and the bits of gameplay we've seen, you would be able to see that is mostly (if not completely) the case. They haven't just copied and pasted features from other games into Halo 4. They are making sure that what they add and change works in the Halo sandbox and is balanced. If you're really going to be so close minded and just downright foolish to judge the game before giving it a fair chance, actually seeing what you're complaining about in action, and play the final game, go ahead. If you don't decide to buy the game despite not having enough information to accurately judge the additions and changes they're making or how the game plays, it's one less person I have to worry about complaining about how so and so is "dumb and unfair and unbalanced" in the long run. > _ >
I said nothing about unfair and unbalanced. Infact fairness and balance isn't what I look for the most. I'm looking for a fun halo experience. I said they are taking way to much stuff from call of duty. Which they are. Halo's uniqueness is being swallowed my microsoft fear of not keeping up with the all the other shooters out there. And please stop trying to carry arguements by acting as if I don't know what I'm talking about. Listen to their interviews and podcasts and read about it in the magazines. They go into detail exactly how the systems work. Don't go around making wild accusations about what kind of gamer or person I am because you definately and obviously know nothing about me. I was a halo fan since the first game and I love halo's style and I don't like call of duty. I'm allowed to have a opinion different then yours without being called a liar or ignorant.
