I've set up camp in red rocket. Nice and easy to defend (turrets on the roof) and I can roll down the door when radiation storms roll in.
I do send all my less-desired followers to sanctuary to rot though. I put some farms there so if I need tatos and corn, I'll visit, but otherwise all my junk is at RR.
For the first few assassin's creed games, I played super stealthy, restarting stuff if I got spotted. In the later games, it really felt like they made combat more mandatory, which irked me. I never finished AC III, or even all the AC II sequels because I just got tired of failing to play it my way.
When I started ACIV, I was grumpy that, once again, I couldn't stealth everything (at least not without a lot of trouble) but I realized that as a pirate instead of an assassin, I might as well just do everything as visibly and violently as possible. Pirates are all about style and fear right? I still try to stealth assassination missions (hey, extra money, plus they're all set up for sneaking - it feels like puzzle solving) but everything else it's high-speed approach, take down dudes as fast as possible, and who cares about the noise.
If you enable HDMI link on the PS4, and you have a TV that supports it (my 4-5 year old Sony TV calls it Bravia link, others call it other things), and you are using HDMI to connect your PS4 to your TV, you should be able to control your PS4 (well, the basics anyways) from your TV remote. Great for watching blurays, and when they get the media player stuff sorted out, that too. Works for me anyways! You may need to fiddle in your TV menus to make sure that it's on, and if you go through your receiver things may be .. complicated?
You could do this with the PS3 slim I think, but I always had the fat one so I can't say for sure.
