The square below the D-Pad is probably a marker for the Near Field Communication. I'm assuming they'd rather players tap the NFC toys to a spot on the casing then scrape them across the touch screen, leaving Skylander claw marks all over it.

We know they're sitting on a lot of games- Skyward Sword, Pikmin 3, Kirby, Xenoblade and Last Story- those will probably all be officially announced or dated. I doubt there will be too much more than those, but that should be enough to carry the back half of the year.  If I had to guess, I'd say most of Nintendo's effort is on 3DS and potentially Wii2 at this point.

There needs to be some form of compensation in the search for titles that use non-traditional characters in their names. Searching for Pokemon, Brutal Legend, and Okami was a huge pain.
