  • Joru replied to the topic Uh...are you guys still touting Forza 3? in the Gran Turismo 5 board.
Forza 3 still looks really awesome, but Gran Turismo definately at least looks superior judging from the trailers. The cars in Forza still look like they're made out of plastic in some cases and in most shots GT5 just looks sublime.

  • Part of the reason is that when you buy more points than you actually need you will end up buying stuff you didn't care about before. Also, MS would lose money if they sold stuff for 50c or something due to bank transaction fees.Oh, and if you buy these points then it doesn't feel the same as actually spending money on everything "Hey I have 2000 points I can buy ...

  • It's not youtube. It's the copyright holders. Recently many Guitar Hero and Rock band videos have been taken down because WMG has made copyright claims.

  • Not with Killzone but I have had real bad dizziness with Lego Indiana Jones (hilarious, I know). Basically, couldn't play the game for more than 30 minutes before getting very dizzy. I think it might be motion sickness, do you ever have it in a car or a plane?

  • Joru replied to the topic Quake live beta now actually playable in the Quake Live board.
Just checked, queue was 12 and only took 15 seconds for me to go in. The game is alot of fun, definately recommend it to everyone who likes fast paced mp fps.

  • 18, I was kind of surprised by some obvious ones I missed when looking at a map afterwards, but then again I live in Europe and never had to learn any of that stuff.

  • Joru replied to the topic system specs in the Quake Live board.
System requirements shouldn't be much higher than Q3 (except for ram since it's a browser game) so pretty much any computer should be able to run it.Q3 needed a Pentium II processor 223 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 8 mb video card.

  • HD. I have a 720p / 1080i monitor which supports component cables. Had some trouble at first with figuring out the audio but overall it was quite easy to set up and it works really well. On a monitor there's no HD lag like on TV's and the pixels are much smaller which makes for a nicer view if you're sitting close to it.
