JuggertrainUK: Best of 2010

  • Now apart from the Clint Eastwood films I have never been a fan of anything western. I especially have never been a fan of horses and old style weapons because nobody ever seemed to get this stuff right. Once again Rockstar just steps in and blows me away, I really can't find anything bad to say about this game. I loved every second from just simply roaming around on my horse to the shootouts to the interaction with characters and the weird accountant guy, all the way to the undead nightmare DLC which I'm playing as I write this. This is my Number one without a doubt.

  • Bungie sure knows how to make a shooter. I'm a pretty big halo fan already, played all the games, read a few of the books and even bought the Halo legends Blu Ray so I'm pretty invested in the franchise. I was worried how this game was going to be handled, would it look good, would it play good, would it be as short as Halo 3. But all my wishes came true, I felt the gameplay even with one or two tweaks was the best so far, the graphical upgrade was to a very good standard and the single player length and variety was exactly what i was hoping for, and once you add the multiplayer and forge it was the perfect game for Bungie to say goodbye with.

  • This is my type of RPG all over, some may say its barely an RPG but none the less this a top quality game that deserves everyone's attention. The changes made for the 2nd game made Mass Effect 2 just that more special as I would of gladly played more Mass Effect 1. The story built up really nicely and had very cool climax and the characters where some of the best I've seen all year.

  • Really wasn't expecting much from this game as I assumed that they had to run out of ideas at some point. Although the COD series takes a lot of shit from quite a few people, Black Ops is still a great entry in this franchise and in my opinion Treyarch's best attempt. The single player still as fun and ridiculous as ever, the multiplayer just as addicting and zombies is just a very well done co-op experience. Throw in the new wager matches and you have something that not only has a lot of bang for your buck but something very much worth your time.

  • I knew what to expect going into this game the usual fun of blood and gore and huge bosses. The reason this game is as high as it is on this list is because I was still just as entertained by it as I was the first two God of Wars. Some people complained about the length I thought it was perfect for a game like this. The developers of GOW managed to make this game just as fun and exciting as the last two if not more.

  • For a long time I completely forgot about this game after hearing nothing about it for so long. When the game eventually arrived I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere and light mechanic. It gave me hope that Microsoft has something else that they can build on other than Halo and Gears. It was a very promising start to what I think could be a awesome franchise.

  • Splinter Cell is one of my favourite franchises and I was a big fan of the old style, however I found this new take on it just as great. The only thing stopping this game from being higher on this list was its short length. I loved this game and played through it many times and put a good amount of hours into its multiplayer so I only wish there was more of it.

  • Without a doubt the most unique game on this list by far. I was a little hesitant by the price and length that I kept hearing about for this game, but when I actually got round to buying it an playing through in one sitting I had no absolutely no complaints.

  • Vanquish is a very fast paced, fun and crazy shooter. This game made my list simply because it knew what it was trying to be and just went for it. It looked great, played very well and was just a whole lot of fun.

  • I was extremely scared that this franchise was going to be ruined with this title and undo all the progress that AC2 made. I was surprised to find this game still a very good experience for saying it's in the same world as AC2 and i did not tire of the Italy setting.
