Why am I rewatching Brad play Demon's Souls? Oh yeah, because Demon's is the best Souls!

Love the idea. Any potential excuse to lighten the back log or try something I normally wouldn't on my own is always a good thing. I'll take a look at the doc and report back. All the talk of Costume Quest reminds me that I never finished it either. A family friend played on my save file and I couldn't continue since he played so much (and I wasn't gonna start over either). I agree that should be saved for October though.

@brodehouse: I tried to put the Despres debacle out of my mind because that never should have happened. That one is gonna hurt for several years. When he got rid of Bortuzzo and Desperes he shipped off our two biggest defensemen who were also the two biggest hitters on defense. Bad move all around. I'm hoping that Perron will have a bounce back year similar to how Neal struggled his first half season with the Pens before becoming a 40 goal scorer. Can't wait to see Kessel. Should be an interesting season.

Also, our strength and condition coach Mike Kadar left after 8 years and went to Detroit. Considering the Pens injury woes the last 5 years (though you can't blame the concussions, strokes and blood clots on preparation) maybe him leaving will help us stay healthy for a change. I can hope anyway.

So yeah, NXT was a good time tonight. Regal opened it up with a 10 bell salute to Dusty and then went straight into Enzo, Cas, and Carmilla vs Dubstep Cowboys and Alexa Bliss. Fun match for the opener and everyone was hot for Enzo, Cas and Carmilla. Though Bliss being from Cleveland won't win you any favor here in the 'Burgh.

A lot of the mid card matches were alright, but nothing special. Corbin vs Rhyno was essentially the same as their previous match. Jason Jordan vs Bull Dempsey was ok, but they continued the "Bull is fat and gets gassed when running" story thread by repeating the run around the ring spot. There was a good moment where they were both running off the ropes across the ring perpendicular to each other. Bull got tired and stopped to catch his breath while Jordan just kept going back and forth for a bit. Zach Ryder & Mojo Rawley vs Vaudvillains was what you expect. The crowd was hot for Z and firmly against Mojo the whole match. The women's tag match with Bayley & Charlotte vs Emma & Dana Brook could have been a lot better. You could see everyone slowing down for Dana. She would get tagged in only to do a few strikes and tag back out. There wasn't a whole lot of flow to the match.

Then things got real. Banks vs Lynch was awesome as expected. They really built off of the previous match and they absolutely killed it. The crowd was amped for both ladies, but Lynch definitely got the bigger pop of the two. After the match Sasha got back in the ring, helped Becky up and did the 4 horseman (horsewomen in this case) sign and then walked out. It easily would have been match of the night if it weren't for the Fatal 4 Way main event. Tyler Breeze vs Samoa Joe vs Finn Balor vs Kevin Owens. The crowd was pretty hot for all 4 guys, but Owens was masterful at working the crowd. It was my first time seeing him live and he was fantastic. Definitely the star of the match.

This was my first live event since 05 or 06 (Edge and Christian were ripping on Sidney Crosby that night) so this was a fantastic way to get back into it. Looking forward to them coming through again in the future.

Man, how did I get through this much of the day without hearing the Dusty news. RIP.

I'll be at the NXT show in Pittsburgh tonight (front row!) so I'll give a report afterwards. Hopefully they will mock up some kind of tribute to Dusty since he was a major part of the development system for so long.

I think most of us are in the same mindset of being ecstatic about Owens winning, but good God they better not screw it up from here and have him pull a Rusev and lose 3 straight rematches. I'm kind of tired of every feud being rematch after rematch, but given the amount of NXT "grads" that took part in EC I am hoping that there will be a push in creativity with the new blood.

Haven't participated in a while, but been following and figured why not jump in a bit.

Krazy Predictions:

1: All 6 tag teams are released from their pods before any team is eliminated (ie: all 12/13 men active in ring at once)

2: Kevin Owens wins clean (so impossible that it is Krazy in it's own right!)

3: Kevin Owens wins by DQ when Samoa Joe Muscle Buster's Owens.

Name generator: Petulant Suicide

Diva name generator: Miss Teacher (which is hilarious since my name happens to closely resemble that of a certain Van Halen front man).

Lucha name generator: Loco Leyenda

I'm not a huge fan of Finn Balor either, but like all things we'll get used to it in time.

Seems like DW to me. Looks fun in short bursts, but not enough to actually finish the game. The Zelda nostalgia would keep me playing longer than otherwise, but I doubt I'd ever see any kind of end game if I were to play it.

After playing some more I'm getting more used to the button layout, but I still wish they would add some remapping into the options.

Is that not in the full game? The demo is so stripped-down I wouldn't be surprised if it was. Then again it's Nintendo so I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't.

@starvinggamer: Control customization is in the full game.

Good to know. I'm adjusting to it, but I may still swap it around a bit in the final release if it just feels more natural.
