I wouldn't be able to tell you about the ION kit, but I have a Beatles drum kit, and I would highly recommend it. It is a huge improvement over the RB1 set.
I think they did mention doing PRO instrument parts for pre-Rock Band 3 songs, if they were popular songs that called for it. Like songs that really need a keyboard part, or something.
@SuperEvilDOOM: I thought it was 800 space bucks for either previous Rock Band games. I guess he'll find out when he gets them!
@markini6: If you're interested, you can also export the LEGO and Green Day rock band games also. Although, the majority of people have had a lot of trouble exporting LEGO due to a broken Harmonix website. So I'm waiting til they get their stuff sorted. Check out the setlist for LEGO and Green Day to see if you're interested.
It's a bit of a long shot to ask, but has anyone got the RB3 Keyboard to work with FL Studio via MIDI? If so, how? Can't seem to make mine talk at all.
