I've cut way back on Apex this year, but kind of impressive considering the game has been out less than 3 years.
My first game played on each console were all puzzle games for whatever reason. I'm sure Hexic HD was because it came pre-installed on the system
360: Hexic HD
X1: Peggle 2
Series X: Tetris Effect Connected
It said my first achievement ever was from the XBLA version of Street Fighter 2 HF, but that's definitely not correct because that game wasn't even out yet when I got the system.
Kind of sad I switched gamertags a year or so in since it says my first system was 360, when it was not. I bought an original Xbox at midnight launch and played on Live within the first month or two of it existing.
I have no idea how close Jeff and I are to being similar in regular life, but there are countless times where he's mentioned something random that I completely identify with. And I'm not talking about remembering some TV show or album or whatever, I mean specifically one line said in one video game or a throwaway event from the early 90s that next to no one even remembers. It's weird as shit.
Already been addressed in similar comments, but just noting that Mark of the Ninja Remastered is another one in the "just vote for the original" category.
In a month we'll be hearing about how Battlefront is one of the best selling games of the year, and when the next Battlefront/field comes out and it's even more egregious we'll get to go through this all over again.
Gamers generally don't have the spine to stand up to things like this. They just curse at the publisher, downvote anything they post, and buy anyway. That's not going to get anything changed.
And this is exactly why I haven't bought it on Pc yet. There's just too many risks. You just put me over the fence on my decision. I think I'll be getting the ps4 version.
There's actually zero risk if you buy on Steam, or anywhere else with a good refund policy.
Well yeah, other than you can't play the game if the PC is your only option and it doesn't work. Seems like kind of a noteworthy risk to me.
