I'm pretty sure you only die like that if you are low on health and then get hit.  It isn't 'normally' a 1 hit kill.  <('-'<).  Definitely worth getting.  I'm only on Chapter 4 but I have yet to actually die >.< - The game is fun!I'm kinda cheating cause I'm on easy ;).  I can't play horror games for long, much less when they are hard as crap to ...

I heard there would still be local co-op at launch.  At least they are still going to provide this feature shortly after release.  I'd rather it work than be rushed into the gold product.
