For everybody else: Dedimania is fully enabled on Unofficial Classic, and sort of enabled on Official but I need Jeff to poke some configs before everything's all set. I've also added some tracks to Unofficial that I'll roll onto Official if they get good karma.

I've also enabled /add, the command that lets you add ManiaExchange tracks by ID through a voting process. Try it out!

edit: Apparently that memory leak isn't plugin-related, it affects every server. It's also REALLY BAD. Check out this graph of it ballooning up to 4GB of memory for somebody within three hours.

Jeff needs to add the oggs to a webserver for both of our servers, so I have to go through him. But he's obviously a pretty busy dude. I figure he'll be able to worry about stuff like this on the weekends.

The Authentic Trackmania Experience™. Although, you can juke songs by clicking the Song widget at the top right and clicking the titles of songs. As far as I know, the music plugin has no imposed limit on how many songs you can juke in a row, so you can totally customize your listening experience...Unless someone is a dick and keeps adding Cher.

Sorry about Unofficial Classic's downtime--it went down and then mysteriously vanished from the server list for a while. I started to panic, rebooted a few times, and ultimately determined that Nadeo's server list is just unbelievably slow tonight. Oops!

Both servers are up and at map parity right now. Enjoy!

edit: Also Dedimania is supporting TM2 Stadium as of today, so I'm enabling Dedimania on my server tonight. Hopefully it'll actually pull in some records soon enough.

An update regarding Official Classic--The server's host is apparently being upgraded. Kinda crappy that they informed us of this AFTER they started working on it, but oh well. Quoth TrackmaniaServer:

Today our datacenter will upgrade the hardware of the Hostsytem Cluster6 (like on Cluster4 before). All servers will gain more ressources to improve the stability. During the maintenance the Hostsystem must be shut down. we will keep you informed about the progress via this blog.

Update 08:42: The hostsystem is up in testing mode for stability checks.

Just a heads up, Jeff's server (Official Classic) is undergoing host maintenance again. Nothing I can do about it except groan because TrackmaniaServer.org didn't post about it in advance so it's probably something catastrophic.

Good news! I was finally able to retrieve my Stadium player key, which allowed me to validate Unofficial Classic, which allows me to set it as a registered ladder server. I've never completely understood how the ladder system works, but I believe this means you can go above 50k ladder points on the server once I dump 10k planets into Nadeo's sink.

Got it, looking forward to playing it tonight. And regarding karma: I generally delete tracks under 50% local karma.

Also thanks to you and Brian B., between both of your donations I was able to pay for another month of increased memory for the VPS hosting Unofficial Classic. The 50 playercap will live on!

Planets are pretty worthless right now until Nadeo reimplements custom car models and more Manialink functionality. But even then they're pretty dang worthless because most models worth a crap are posted to Trackmania Carpark for free. So generally planets are just a metric for how much you like something and how much completely arbitrary funmoney you want to throw at servers and content creators.

Got both tracks and I'll upload them tonight, along with any other tracks that people submit by the time I get home. Also here's a PayPal donation link.

Just got home. I'll be uploading community-made tracks soon.

Official Classic did. I just restored its tracklist, everything's back to normal now.

Also regarding donations, I really don't want to actively field for donations from this community for doing something I want to do, but if you think I'm doing a good job and want to help pay for server costs, then you can donate here.

My server's banlist is empty. Are you able to connect to other servers (e.g. Official Classic)? Could be a temporary global IP ban, I've seen that happen before.
