Well, I ended up doing the split screen thing with a low level character and got through the Prove Yourself mission by doing a piece of it 3 different times. Needless to say, it was boring as heck. I've now got to do the bigger tournaments and I'm not sure how it's going to happen. Who knows, maybe I'll do like one a week. I really wish I had someone to do it with to just get through it and maybe have some fun. Doing it by myself is boring. Ah well, guess it's the price I have to pay to get this dumb achievement. lol
