B-List Nintendo Games
You know you love them: sometimes strange, semi-inspired NES games that generally just don't cut the mustard when it comes to your hard earned lawnmowing money. But hey, they're still fun to rent from the local convenience store.
1. The Adventures of Bayou Billy

The Crocodile Dundee of the deep-deep South, Bayou Billy was an interesting beat-em-up.

2. Godzilla: Monster of Monsters
3. The Immortal

Tons of traps that meant instead death, violent combat.

4. Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu
5. Rollergames
6. Demon Sword

I think this may have been a sequel to Legend of Kage? It played a lot like it, except there was a focus on powering up your sword until it became longer than your body. Like Bezerk-long. Impossibly long.

7. Solstice: The Quest for the Staff of Demnos

Not my favorite puzzler of the NES; it was one of the first interesting isometric games I remember playing.

8. Power Blade
9. Nightshade
10. Flying Warriors
11. Metal Storm
12. The Punisher
13. Misson: Impossible
14. 8 Eyes
15. Captain Skyhawk
16. Phantom Fighter
17. Silkworm
18. Jackal
19. A Boy and His Blob
20. Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight

Capcom made a number of marquee games for the SNES, and Street Fighter 2010 was definitely one of them. Nothing like Street Fighter 2 save the name of the protagonist being "Ken," SF2010 played like a futuristic Yier-Kung-Fu. Not a bad thing, and honestly I think there was some content here that could be used for a modern remake--a story based action/fighting game.

21. City Connection

You know the story--you go to rent Super Mario 3, only to find the last guy who rented it still has it despite what must be mounting late fees. So, you settle for City Connection, of which the only thing you have to go on is a really retarded looking box and unexciting screenshots on the back. But once you get it home and give it about an hour's chance, you come to realize that not every game in the rental store with a crappy box is a complete turd. City Connection was quite a gem that worked a simple gameplay concept (running from the cops in a crappy compact) to a degree that required quick thinking and good reflexes.

22. Legendary Wings
23. Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode
24. Fester's Quest
25. Faxanadu

What a weird, cool game.

26. Shadow of the Ninja
27. Milon's Secret Castle
28. Shatterhand
29. S.C.A.T.: Special Cybernetic Attack Team
30. Abadox: The Deadly Inner War
31. Karnov
32. Town & Country Surf Designs: Wood & Water Rage
33. Nobunaga's Ambition
34. Ironsword: Wizards & Warriors II
35. Battle Chess
36. 720º
37. Cabal
38. Wizards & Warriors
39. Kid Niki
40. Bases Loaded
41. P.O.W.: Prisoners of War
42. The Magic of Scheherazade
43. Fist of the North Star
