@kevitivity: Make sure you two-factor authenticate all logins that you can, and make sure your Facebook page is private. Like Maluvin said, report it to your state police. Having it on record as early as possible is important.
More great advice.
I've been on the net and posting in discussion groups since 1994 and have never experienced anything like this. Thank you.
Don't take death threats lightly. I'd report it. Chances are it's nothing and nothing will be done but it does create a record of the incident and if the name or ID pops up enough in the system it can trigger an investigation.

Hello all. I don't post here much but I've been a member for many years.
I'm getting death threats from a neogaf user via neogaf's forum IM system. I've contacted them via twitter and their support email to no avail.
I don't *think* these death threats are sincere - more likely it's a person who didn't like something I said and is merely trying to intimidate me. I don't think this is something that requires getting law enforcement involved either. I just find it very odd that neogaf doesn't seem to care. They are probably understaffed.
Should I do more or just ignore it? I'm I'm enclined to ignore it, but the same death threats are now being posted to my flickr page, twitter, and website. Those are easy to deal with.
Sorry if this isn't appropriate - I'm just a little concerned.
Anyone have any luck viewing Giant Bomb content via Plex? I have the Giant Bomb channel installed, but there are rarely any videos available. Maybe this is still under construction?
