I think I have watched the Brutal Legend intro video about 15 times now. I am seriouisly looking forward to this game! Love all of Tims stuff especially Physconauts. Â Â PStriple
I have been looking forward to MAG for a while. I am a huge Battlefeild 2 fan and just big fan of team based shooters. Plus I am one of the few that actually owns and uses a PS3 headset, so that has to count for something. Keep up with the good work on the site.
P.S I live in Canada so I'm elegable if you're wondering.
Street Fighter 4 is my first SF I took seriously, the only one I played other wise was Alpha 2. It took me like 100 hours to be where I am now. Right now I main Akuma and alt Cammy. I am in G2 and I can beat most people now. Honda's, Blanka's and Vegas still give me hard times with any char. I'd say im up to a 5.5 right now. I still have trouble with G2 tournaments. Those guys are on another level.
I'm assuming this is your first time playing SF in a while or at all, I had the same problem. If you can't preform moves on a controller a stick won't help. I would suggest choosing someone like Ryu, and just check combos on shoryuken.com. For me playing with the D-Pad is the easiest (PS3) also I usually but my shirt over my thumb for smoother movements. Hopefully that helps a little. Took me 100 hours but now I'm decent at SF. Once you can smoke noob Kens without stressing it, the game feels really rewarding.
I have beaten a couple games in one sitting but I can't remeber them. But the one I do remeber is Guitar Hero 2. I beat all the story mode songs and like half the bonus list in one sitting on Expert on launch day. What a grand day it was.
I really liked this game. When you get to the arena part you can basically get used to the level there because sure you can just slide and shoot but pulling off the fancyer stuff is much more statisfying but needs more work to do. This game reminds me of Tony Hawk but with guns, you need to have a line to go through to be able to do any good on the harder levels. Sure kickfliping will get you places in normal but on sick dificulty you need to know where to grind and what lines lead to where.
The game looks awesome. Though I wish those limited edish instruments were sold separately because I really only want Paul's bass guitar. That thing is so sweet. I'm glad they are adding in all those extra's and after that Kotaku story of Yoko Ono apparently being a wiener to the programers to get everything right you know its going to stay true to the band.
Bionic Commando Rearmed was awesome, bought it day one and I still like it (replaying for trophies). Sucks that they are gone but I hope they will appear on the bombcast again to give you guys some new horrible tasting candy.
